Modular repair and exchange point for everyday and residential objects.
Design of a publicly accessible, walkable weather shelter placed in the urban space with a modular spatial structure to exchange, share and repair objects.
The aim is to activate idle resources of all kinds: from the urban residual space to living and everyday objects that become functional again through minor repairs to the repurposing or upcycling of their still usable components.
How can architecture be used to draw attention to the resource-saving use of materials and objects in public space?
What unused or fallow resources are there?
How can modular load-bearing structures that offer sufficient weather protection for the respective purpose be constructed with minimal and sustainable use of materials?
