\n<\/span>Architecture & Environmental Design<\/b><\/p>\n

Florence Lipsky, born in 1960 in Marseille, architect, has been a professor at the School of Architecture of \u00c9cole d’architecture de la ville & des territoires Paris-Est – Paris since 2000. During her training, she spent two years as visiting researcher at the University of California at Berkeley, sponsored by the Ministery of Foreign Affairs (Lavoisier grant). One of the results was the publication of the book : “San francisco, the grid on the hills” ed. Parenth\u00e8ses. She has been a resident in “Kujoyama Villa” in Kyoto in 2002 on a French Foreign Affairs Ministry grant. She has completed her Ph.D thesis concerning campus planning, in a comparative approach between USA, Europe and Japan in 2016. She is member of the Architecture Academy. *<\/span><\/p>\n

Architecture has a socio-political presence in France. Presidents have manifested the visibility and status of the built environment through their initiative:<\/span><\/p>\n

Georges Pompidou with the Centre Pompidou, Francois Mitterand with the Grands Projets, the French National Library, the expansion of the Louvre, the Grand Arche in the Defence, Jacques Chirac with the Museum at Quai Branly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seven protagonists of current French architecture will come to the TU Vienna.<\/b><\/p>\n

They represent different approaches to architecture and at the same time several generations.<\/span>
\n<\/span>They will explain themselves through reports on their work and their architectural attitude.<\/span><\/p>\n
