The design investigates the House of Encounter as a spatially differentiated structure of public/open, semi-public, and introverted areas, which are organized to be climatically effective. Solar orientation, natural lighting, and controlled ventilation using wind flows, such as the cold air corridor, are developed as integral components of the spatial concept.

The focus is on the multi-layered construction of the building envelope, the development of climatically effective transitional zones, as well as strategies for wind guidance and cross-ventilation. The interactions between spatial openness, thermal comfort, air movement, and energy demand are analyzed and refined in the design.

A special emphasis is placed on the elaboration of key constructive details, in which climate strategy, material selection, and spatial logic are concretized.

Group work possible.
